We are delighted to share an exciting funded PhD studentship through the NIHR Maternity Disparities Consortium, based at the University of Birmingham.

This project will develop a rapid evaluation method embedded in realism and health equity approaches. The method will aim to evaluate the efficacy of accountability frameworks for reducing racism and discrimination in perinatal services. Focused in perinatal mental health services and the Patient Carer Race Equality Framework as a starting point.
The successful candidate will join the NIHR Maternity Disparities Consortium, working alongside leading academics, NHS partners, community organisations and people with lived experience to generate evidence that informs policy and improves maternity care for underserved communities.
