ORAMMA

The ORAMMA model is a woman-centred, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based approach supporting migrant, asylum-seeking, and refugee women throughout the perinatal journey. Led by midwives, social support workers, and maternity peer supporters, it ensures safe motherhood through active community participation. Research papers here.

Neonatal assessment

A review commissioned by the NHS Race and Health Observatory assessing the impact of skin colour on neonatal assessments undertaken by our Sheffield Hallam University. Full report here
